The District Wharf (Wharf DC) is a mile long, 74 acre, $2 Billion waterfront redevelopment project along the southwest waterfront of Washington, D.C.
My responsibilities for this 16 year project ran from the initial competition phase (2006), marshaling the production and coordination with the Hoffman Madison Waterfront, as well as over 15 Design Firms, of visual materials for countless presentations and submissions during the entitlement process for Phase 1 of the project, including for the US Commission of Fine Arts. This involved careful management of strict and aggressive deadlines. Phase 2 (2017-2022) involved more marketing centered deliverables (Video, Animations and Renderings) for Office, Residential and Retail needs.
Along with the Entitlement Process and Marketing deliverables, a Documentary, "Re-imagining the Wharf" (Video TRT: 26:37) was produced to describe the process from the initial competition stage in 2006 through opening day of Phase 1 in 2017.
