The National Air & Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Dulles International Airport, Chantilly, VA. The museum on the National Mall only displayed a fraction of the artifacts in its collection. There was a need and desire to expand the exhibition space as well as updating and relocating their conservation operation from a disparate set of old buildings in Silver Hill, MD to a more modern facility.  ( HOK Website NASM Project Page  )
Role: Design Team member while at Hellmuth, Obata+Kassabaum (HOK) Architects, focused on the Control Tower (including Design Renderings), Porte-Cochere Space Frame and Bus Canopy Structural Coordination, Gate House and Photo-voltaic Canopy Design (Yet to be funded)
